Massimo Bottura, the three Michelin stars chef, joined David Hertz in the Social Gastronomy movement. Accompanied by chefs Kátia and Bianca Barbosa, from Aconchego Carioca restaurant, and journalist Alexandra Forbes, they organized dinners for the residents of Greco neighborhood in Milan.
The menu? A surprise, entirely prepared with ingredients destined to be thrown away at the Expo Milano 2015.
Diego Silva, a former Gastromotiva student who currently studies at Slow Food´s University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy, was invited by Hertz to help them during the dinners where he was able to show in practice, food´s power to transform.
