On 16 April, the chef and founder of Gastromotiva, David Hertz, was invited by the World Bank to discuss at the “Future of Food” in Washington, on how cooking professionals can contribute to the challenge of feeding the growing world population. David was invited by MAD – chef René Redzepi´s ONG – to discuss the power of the act of cooking in this process.

Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank, David Chang, chef at Momofuku restaurant, Mark Hermansen from MAD and Chido Govera from the Future of Hope Foundation were present at the event.
