Stella Pure Gold and Gastromotiva launch free course for women

18/04/2024

This initiative is part of the “Entrada Delas” project, which seeks to highlight talented female cooks in the high gastronomy sector.

Starting today, applications are open for a new free course promoted by Stella Artois, marking the second collaboration between Ambev and Gastromotiva. The educational project “Juntas na Mesa e na Liderança” is designed for women to enhance their professional skills in gastronomy. This course, part of Stella Pure Gold’s “Entrada Delas” initiative, aims to provide visibility and productive inclusion for talented female cooks in high gastronomy.

The online classes will be held Monday to Friday, three hours per day, with sessions in the morning and evening. Course materials are available on Gastromotiva’s platform, and participants must have culinary knowledge from either formal education or professional experience.

The course begins on May 13 and covers topics such as leadership, menu creation, dish harmonization, and full use of ingredients. The total duration of “Juntas na Mesa e na Liderança” is 60 hours, with two cohorts per month until the end of the year. Interested individuals can find more details and register on Gastromotiva’s website.

Legacy

In early April, Stella Pure Gold launched the “Entrada Delas” project with an initiative featuring dishes by up-and-coming chefs from various Brazilian states at renowned restaurants in São Paulo, a global gastronomic hub. The initiative was supported by Helena Rizzo, the first Brazilian woman to head a Michelin-starred restaurant, who expressed her desire to see more women achieve prominent positions in the industry.

The launch of “Juntas na Mesa e na Liderança” marks a new phase for “Entrada Delas“, representing another step in Stella Artois’s journey, which began with the “Juntas na Mesa” project in 2022, leading to the first course in partnership with Gastromotiva.

We strive to engage the public with creative and moving actions, which is very special. But it is truly exciting to promote knowledge and make a positive impact on people’s lives. This is undoubtedly a movement that fills us with pride,” said Mariana Porto, Marketing Director at Stella Artois.

Productive Inclusion

Stella Pure Gold’s project reinforces Ambev’s ambition to productively include five million people by 2032 through opportunities for knowledge, connection, and income.

Productive inclusion means giving people real prospects to be in control of their own paths. We will provide conditions that we believe will help Brazilians have job and income opportunities and grow with the country,” commented Carlos Pignatari, Director of Social Impact at Ambev.

David Hertz, founder and president of Gastromotiva, added:

The course led by Gastromotiva, in partnership with Stella Artois and Ambev, marks the second phase of a successful collaboration. This initiative aims to equip women with existing kitchen experience to work as chefs. Partnerships like this are essential for building a new reality.
